Deeper Insight
With over 60 years of personal, business and organizational use, millions of people have participated in Birkman assessments across generations, geography, gender, and cultures. Birkman offers an array of easy-to-access report formats which assess individual behavior, perceptions, and personality with the goal of better understanding what drives individual traits and interpersonal dynamics. While all of these products are non-clinical in nature, some are primarily self-interpretative and can be used with limited training, and others are dependent on the skills of Birkman Certified Consultants who have a deeper understanding of The Birkman Method® and its applications. The Birkman Method® and its various report options offer both descriptive and prescriptive information for the individual. All of our products are derived from the insights of Dr. Roger Birkman and Birkman International over the past 60 years.
Better Results
Research indicates that three distinct factors account for the majority of variance in performance, satisfaction and other workplace criteria. They are characteristics of the individual, characteristics of the situation and the interaction of the individual and the situation. The Birkman Method® measures all three factors in detail and so maximizes the potential for predicting and understanding performance and satisfaction. Unlike most personality assessments that work hard to eliminate socially desirable responses (the tendency to strive for creating a good impression), The Birkman Method® uses a participant’s understanding of social desirability, along with motivational desires, to measure and report the way that a person interacts in everyday life situations where people actually do color their behavior according to their understanding of social desirability.
